In the past, women were positioned on the second class, under men’s dominancy. Women were slowly getting the same education and right as women and lucky for us, nowadays, we can do all things done by men and have the same right as men have. Do women get 100% emancipation during this modern era? Well, believe it or not, there are still so many underestimate looks and perception for women and there are so many countries that become so flare up just because their future leader is a woman, so if there was a statement that explained women has 100% emancipation, I believe many people do not agree with the statement.

The treatment of women as a second class community can still be felt until nowadays, moreover in the workplace. It can be clearly seen when there are so many companies that give higher salary for men than for women. There are so many reasons behind the lower salary and one of them is because men are considered as the breadwinner of the family. Hey, wake up! There are numerous women who are also become the breadwinner of their family, so there should be any reason of lower salary for women. It is just a small example because there are so many cases of discrimination and unfair treatment received by women such as the company’s rejection for women who have delivered baby to work again, unpaid salary during the pregnancy break, and many others.
